  1. Have been using AutoGK successfully for a long time now but got problem yesterday when I tried to convert a ripped (VOB files with an IFO file) DVD to avi format and the problem is a described in the title...the video is playing in what could best be described as slow motion but the sound plays normally.

Never seen or had this problem before, anyone know what could be causing it and if there maybe is some setting in AutoGK I could change to help fix the problem? I also tried playing the VOB files directly and then all was fine so my conclusion is the VOB files are OK but it's rather something when converting them to avi using AutoGK that doesn't work.

Thanks in advance for any input!

Post the details from the VOB, use MediaInfo, View->Text.

You could also try convert just this dvd vob with the old handbrake 0.9.3 or staxrip or xvid4psp 5.

  4. Tried Handbrake and that gives me both normal video and audio but I can't get the subtitles to display although I have chosen the preferred subtitle track and added it and a second thing...is it possible to have the output to an avi file rather than a m4v file? I'm using WMP in Win7 to stream to a Samsung TV and this works great with AVI files...not sure if it would work with a m4v file (haven't tried yet since I still haven't got the subtitles to display)
