Today, my PC shut itself off twice. It seems that the incidents coincided wth a particular event in Event Viewer: "The AffinegyService Service Terminated Unexpectedly."
From what I could find, this process either has to do with networking software from Charter, or with malware. I'm having a hard time figuring this out. I do know that on our home network, we've had no end of trouble with trying to access this PC on the network. It keeps disappearing. We'll be in the middle of streaming media from a shared document on the PC and it will stop because the connection is broken. Internet is unaffected. Just access to the PC
Does anyone have any thoughts or advice to offer? Thanks!
