Ok so just recently when using Firefox Windows live has a black bar at the top where it says Hotmail, Messenger, skydrive, MSN so I can not see the options. Any ideas why? It doesn't happen in IE. I've disabled all add-ons in FF and that has no affect.

Have you tried force-reloading the page? (Shift+Reload) Emptying the cache and then trying the page again?
If you've got an extension to change the UserAgent string, you can also try changing it to IE's UserAgent (temporarily), and see if that has any effect upon what you're seeing in Firefox. Microsoft's sites have often been biased toward IE, to some extent, and there was an issue not too long ago (if I remember correctly) where Skydrive (or whatever it was) wouldn't work correctly in any browser other than IE. That's less likely to be the reason, though it probably wouldn't hurt to be sure.If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
Yeah I have tried Shift+reload to no avail. It's really not a major issue to me, because I don't actually use the Hotmail, Messenger, skydrive, MSN links that are hidden it's more of a why is this happening and how to fix it. So it's more of a curiosity and troubleshooting time killer.
