    Apparently there is some type of protection in the files that I cannot combine them in the usual way (YAMB) so is there a way to remove the protection and combine them, if you without re-encoding I would be a very happy customer.

    If there was protection, you wouldn't be able to play them.
    More likely is that they have a different spec -- framesize, audio sampling rate, etc, etc.

    How about Avidemux?
    Just open and resave with audio and video set to COPY (thus no reencoding) into the same container. That often fixes any weirdness.

    Otherwise, put them in Avisynth, use info() to find out their spec and change each to match.
    FFmpegSource2 is good to input them.

    Code:
    FFmpegSource2("Torn-1.mp4",atrack=-1,fpsnum=-1,fpsden=1)
    info()

    Sorry forgot to mention Avidemux complains that H.264 is detected and not enabling the safe mode crashes and enabled gives me weird playback every time.

    The files will only play on the computer. If I stream them (TVersity) to the Xbox no dice. Hadn't thought to put it on a thumbdrive but I doubt that will help.
