I have a Kodak Playsport that was filming for about 25 minutes and when I went to stop it, it wouldn't respond to any input. In a nutshell, the video that was recording has captured some important footage but because the camera "crashed" in the middle of filming, I cannot play the file.
There is 2.8 GB of data as a .MOV file and I'm hoping there is a way to salvage some of this data.
ffmpeg says:
Any suggestions? Hopefully Linux solutions (command line is fine) but I can find access to Windows if that's the only way.Code:[mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2 @ 0x99a47c0] moov atom not found
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

How did you get the file to the computer? Simple copy?
Assuming the card hasn't been written to further, try one of the recovery programs such as recuvu :

If all free solutions, like open in it editors like avidemux, mpeg streamclip or players like vlc, mplayer wont work you can try video repair tool. The trial will try repair half the movie. It has worked fine for me.
