MPC/no subtitle issue solved no codecs necessary - see my last post https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/226005-Make-subtitles-work-with-media-player-classi...23#post2146523
I am still having trouble opening MPC subtitles on my win XP SP3 : https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/226005-Make-subtitles-work-with-media-player-classic
I read this : http://codecs.forumotion.net/t470-cannot-load-subtitle but I still get the same error as the poster of the question. I am trying to run subtitles .srt files with vob files and synchronise them - which I could do if MPC was working
Subtitle Edit uses VLC for it's waveform. I do not want to use VLC player, and although Easy Subtitles Synchroniser uses it as standard, it will also run with Windows Media Player if I download K-Lite Codec pack. I have WMP 9.00.00.4510 installed. So, I have a question:
1. Which K-Lite Codec Pack do I need? There seem to be a few Basic, Standard or Full?
http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm
The Standard has 'Media Player Classic Home Cinema' I have MPC 6.4.9.1. installed, what's the difference?
