  1. I'm editing in Pinnacle Ultimate in high definition. When i go into video preferences and then into Video and Audio prefs, which is a sub heading it gives three options. One is DV output, the second is MPEG 2-best for output to disc and number 3 is MPEG 2-best for preview. I'm just wondering can anyone tell me which one of these is the best to use. I'm currently using the best for preview option for my project. However, i'm just wondering if doing so will have any impact on the quality of my final product when i go to burn off my dvd or is that something separate altogether.I'm hoping this makes sense and would welcome any help.

    #2 is for output to DVD. There are probably additional bit rate settings. The higher the average bit rate the better the quality and the shorter the play time.
