    Hi friends,

I came across this forum when I faced an issue with my Philips bluray player 3200. I have the complete collection of Harry Potter in my portable drive, all of the same format (mkv) with similar filenames (eg: Harry.Potter.And.The.Goblet.Of.Fire.2005.720p.nHD. x264.AAC.NhaNc3). It played the first three parts without any glitch, but when i tried the 4th and later 5th and 6th part, the soundtrack plays, but not the video and it shows video format unsupported.

I tried comparing codec information and file information between these files using vlc player on my laptop and both seems to be of the same type (at least to my amateur eye). What may be the reason for this? any ideas? All files do work in VLC player.

    Thanks

P.S- The bluray player is in my hometown and I wont be able to check the same till I go there again.

Re-Rip them from your original Blu Ray discs.

Yep. Just buy the blu-ray and rebackup.
