I'm using RipoBpot264 v1.17.0 to compress MKV video files but the audio voices are allways out of sync.
    Using Avisynth, HaaliMediaSplitter and Ffdshow.
I click "2-Pass" and reduce the size for abt 50% of original.
    Can anyone help?

  2. Was the source VFR (variable frame rate ) ?

What kind of sync issue? constant sync (e.g. 1 sec all the way through) , or progressively worsening ?

    Thank you for your reply.
How can I know whether the source is VFR ?

    This is what I used:
    Video settings : Profile : [High 4.0] HD progressive FPS: 25 Frames: 151984 Duration:1:41:19,36 Mode: 2-Pass KBPS 1.024
Audio Settings: Profile: x.x Copy Stream Frequency: 44100 Chanels: 2 Duration: 1:41:18,148 Normalize: Off

The original size is 3,8 GB, Locked size and changed to 1,6 GB

  4. You have to look at the timecodes but sometimes mediainfo will report VFR correctly, sometimes not

You can try another program to convert e.g. handbrake, megui, xvid4psp

Or if it's a constant sync issue, just mux in a delay
