Hello all, I did a bit of looking around and haven't come up with anything, but I need a bit of help, and I figured here would be the best place to ask.

I have a series of Anime that are all in MKV format. All the episodes have subtitles and two seperate tracks of audio, one in Japanese and one in English.

Is there a way to be able to get rid of the subtitles and recompile the episodes in a different format using only the English audio track?

What format would you want to convert them to? That would usually determine what software you would use. If you wanted DVD format, maybe ConvertXtoDVD. Other formats may require other software.

    And welcome to our forums.

Thank you for the welcome, and the format doesn't really matter to me, as long as I can get rid of the subtitle and Japanese audio track. I will give ConvertXtoDVD a try and see how that works for me. Thanks for the help.

  4. Easy, use mkvmerge from mkvtoolnix to uncheck the audio you wanted to remove, you don't even have to worry about reencoding and it can be done in seconds per file.
