    Yes, that does indeed make sense. FFDshow would be less footprint and still contain the VFW codecs if anyone choose to use in such as Virtualdub especially since they were taken out of K-Lite except for the Mega-pack. Good idea to suggest in the future.

  2. Hey Budman, Universal hit me up yesterday asking me to stop by their offices for some new codec they're working on for HD delivery to blu-ray players via HSI. Not sure exactly what it is yet but it's being developed for beta testing in early 2013. It has something to do with the vc-1 and h.264/mpeg4 working together to create a new breed of compression. Apparently Adobe is looking into this once it's completed for Amazon's new file delivery. They are stuck on delivering the decoding process on the remote machine. I said I knew someone besides myself who could take a look at it. U wanna go with me? I'm going in Friday morning. Hit me up I can't find where I put your email address.
