  1. Hi
I had an .vob file. I converted it to an .avi vith VD-Mpeg2.
Then I wanted to change the audio.
So, I saved the .wav with VD, then edited it with Adobe Audition, saved with .mp3.
Then I wanted to change the audio in my videoclip, so I did "Audio->Browse for audio..." from VD menu, video -> Direct Stream Copy.
Saved as .avi, but right before finishing the job VD informed about an error.

"Audio samples 12379-12426 could not be read in the source. The file may be corrupted."

But the file is not corrupted, everything is OK.
Maybe the reason is FadeFX plugin, which I used while converting the .vob?
    Thanks for reading.

    Here's the screenshot:

You should have replaced the audio while you were working on the MPEG/VOB.....and don't use MP3.

But what is the difference? Why it doesn't work when I have an ordinary avi file?

Why not mp3? I compress to 320kbs, 48000Hz. Is it bad? Do I lose quality? What format would you advice me to convert audio?

    Load the VOB
    Save audio as wav
    edit/enhance audio
    save as wav
With VOB still open, load new wav file
compress to AVI (with MP3 audio if you prefer).
