I'm trying to make an mkv (720p x264 video) into a DVD using MultiAVCHD. Initially AVSinfo was crashing out so I reinstalled Avisynth, Haali media splitter, & FFDshow per the instructions found here: http://adubvideo.net/how-to/setup-proper-playback-chain-windows
That fixed the problem with AVSinfo, but then new problems arose. It wasn't encoding anything sitting there staying at 0% for an extended period of time. I fixed one setting in ffdshow and then it started encoding the first pass. Now it's reading 97.8%, but it's telling me output size of 0MB/GB and the time to completion is doing nothing but going up. Doublechecking the temp & output folders being used, there is no where near 3GB of data in either location. So what am I missing here? I'm trying to make a standard DVD playable on regular players, so I guess I'm encoding mpeg2.
Thoughts?

ummm dont wanna sound like a jerk but a 720p video wont play in a standard dvd player no matter what you use since the resolution is 720x480 or 704x480 for standard dvd. why use a program thats made for HD video to be kept as HD video for this??? just use convertx2dvd.

MultiAVCHD will transcode the video to a standard playable format. It lets you choose an option for playing the DVD on regular players.
