    I have a sony blue ray player.

    I stream videos from my laptop but I have to plug in the hdmi cable to make it work. I was wondering

    if vuze or some other program will work to do this wireless

    Does it support DLNA, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Living_Network_Alliance ? You can then try tversity, ps3 media server, playon.

    Some of those apps supports websites, see http://www.playon.tv/content-channels for example.
