  1. hi! i'm new here and i seem to be having difficulty in the conversion thingie .. i can't seen to conever my .avi to mpg .. when i use TMPGEnc, there's always an erro .. what does this mean "File E:\My Downloads\mahoromatic_2.avi can not open, or unsupported"???

    that's the problem that i've encountered .. thuogh i can still play the said .avi in Windows Media Player .. is there another way wherein i can convery this .avi file??

    I had the same problem, but then I downloaded Nimo50-build5.exe and went throught the steps to install it (there will be a warning, that if you have some kind of graphics card not to install a certian portion... pay attention to this while installing!!) Walla... Problem solved, It updated the codec's in TMPGEnc, to allow conversion..... I hope this helps..
    You can get Nimo50 from the tools section to the right hand side of the screen under codec's (but I was unable to sucessfully download and install it from that site... I had to do a search in msn search for NIMO, and go from there.) have fun.

  4. i think your problem is that you have a newer version of TMPGEnc. I had same problem. Try version beta 12a
