  1. I have I-Author and I heard it only uses mpv mps and mpa files well my question is how do I convert my mpeg2 file to mp whatever so I can burn the svcd

  2. ya but that doesn't say how to convert it says "Select your video (*.mpv) and audio (*.mpa) files that you created" it doesn't say how to create

    .mpv is MPEG video (only) as well as .m2v
    .mpa is MPEG audio (only) as well as .mp2
    You can rename .m2v to .mpv and .mp2 to .mpa.
    If you have a MPEG system stream, you have to demultiplex.

    If you have any other video file you have to convert to MPEG-2.

  4. when ya say demultix it is that cause they are both sound and video in one file and does the demultix work with mpeg2

    No, I said "demultiplex". I think you should read some FAQ because I guess you have no clue what it means.
