VCD with menus and pictures/audio

First of all, Sorry if this has been answered in a different place already.

My mom wants me to make her a Rosary VCD for our DVD player that will go something like this:

Main Menu:

Joyful Mysteries

Sorrowful Mysteries

Glorious Mysteries
________________

And she want's pictures of the different mysteries to scroll along with audio of the prayers. Is there a fool proof way to do this?

I have:

Nero 5.5 and Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum

a 4x4x24 HP cd burner

a bunch of 80 minute cd-rw's

I've read the how-to on making the pictures&audio with TempEnc, but I just wanted some advice before I get crackin'. Thanks!! =P

Before hostile children show their lack of maturity by spewing insults, due to the subject matter of your DVD project, let me recommend that you try Ulead Video Studio 6. There is a 30-day Trial Version that can probably do what you specified and a whole lot more, including the menus ans overlay pics moving from one part of the screen to the other.

depends like I loved how Unlead Studio worked but for my philips 711 after the burning the cd it didn't work so make sure it works with your player

Thanks Mirror-Image, I'll definately try it out. I was half-expecting people to start posting stuff about catholicism sucking, and whatnot. It's not that this is all I want to do with VCD's, it's just that my mom wants it, and when she wants something, you do it-post haste.

Actually, you've got enough stuff on hand right now to do what you desire. Assuming your mom wants to only see one of the Mysteries and not all three, I'd recommend the EZCD Creator Plat 5. With its menuing options, you can build the disc to play only one of the Mysteries and then return to the menu screen. EZCD Creator Plat 5 does have it troubles, so the UVS6 is still a good option.

I haven't found a way in Nero to play just one video (Mystery) without seeing the ones that come after it.

Yeah, I think it should return to the main menu after its done.

BTW, is there a way to do the menu w/music? not necessary, but it would be cool.

Yes, again EZCD Creator Plat 5 will do that for you. Its menu is a "motion" menu which is built from a short MPEG that is looped until a clip is chosen. This menu MPEG can certainly have sound also.
