Hi everyone,
My current goal is to extract shooting date/time from an HDV stream and "burn" it into a transcoded video file. I think the best way is to extract the information into subtitles, and then use a subtitle video filter in VirtualDub/Avidemux/whatever. Alas, I can't find any good way to do this with free software - there are plenty of options for DV, but not for HDV.
I tried AviSynth+HDVInfo for this purpose, but the results were not good unfortunately.
Thanks for any pointers.
