    I am new to the vcd scene, but I am able to create and play vcd's fine on my computer. Now I want to play them on a stand alone player and I am currently debating on a good dvd player. I heard that you can play vcd's on the ps2 only if you have have an action replay boot cd. Is this true or is it another way to play vcd's on the ps2.

    Unfortuanatley, there is NO current way to play VCD's on PS2. Sorry. I got a PS2, and you can play burned games, but not VCD's.
