When I d/l a video in mpg or avi format I can play it fine. When I d/l it as a tar, or zip, or rar file and uncompress it to an mpg or DAT format it does not play. I get a picture in windvd that is all green except for the top maybe 10% that is all pixilated and the sound is messed up. What am I doing wrong? I doubt it is the source as I have tried it from many sources and the problem is consistent when I d/l as a compressed file.
Thanks
