I've attached an extremely brief clip to show what I'm referring to. It might actually help if you close your eyes and listen, rather than distract yourself by watching.
You can hear a scream in the mix, but it sounds like it was cut off early in post. I wouldn't mind that so much as the weird noise artifact you can hear right at the cut. I don't know how to describe the sound, hence my posting here.
Can someone listen and explain what that sound right at the cut is? That is, other than "sloppy".
Is there a proper term for this kind of "error"?

The technical term is called "pulling an ellen"
