I've been trying to copy a VCD to another CD-R disk. Usually I use "CD Copier" with no problems, as it recognizes it as a VideoCD and makes the copy easily.

One of the VCDs I tried to copy had a few scratches on it, and could not be read on my computer. I tried copying the .dat file on the VCD to the hard drive on various computers, and finally found one that had a CD-ROM that could read the disk. Unfortunately, that computer doesn't have a CD-burner.

I know I can copy the .dat file on that computer, convert the file to an mpeg using VCDGear, and then transfer the mpegs to a computer with a CD-burner and reburn the VCD using VCDEasy or something like that... is there any easier way to do it?

Is there software that will make a VCD image that I could then transfer and burn easily? I tried making a disk image with Easy CD Creator, but that burned the disk in Joliet which doesn't work in the DVD player.

Thanks much!
