Help With Stupid DivX cd

Last year i burnt the matrix (divx) to cd it played really well, now i come back to use it and it wont play, i tried copying it to hard drive but with 10seconds to go it said there was an invalid execution, i tried opening it in virtual dub from the cd but it only played the first 15secs, please can someone please help me , im a 56ker so i really dont want to download it again but please help me sort this out

Sounds like the disk is damaged. However have you tried reading it from your writer ?. They seam to read disks that other readers wont.

Not recommended, But I clean mine with hot water and washing up liquid, dry them with a paper towel,not had any problems "So Far" -. If you use the correct cleaner, you might rub them to hard....

Yeah i tried reading the cd in my burner but it came up with the same error,
