    Hi insipod,

    One explanation:

"Tricked drivers" (Virtualdub/AmarecTV/VH Capture) work with: AVER C027/C727 only.

"AVerMediaCenter HDCP tricked" work with: Any AVER card
    recognized by app.

Yes. Finally no more tricks or methods to record HDMI HDCP devices.

Get the AVERTV HD PACK, install and enjoy.

Patched AMC notes - By me:

    - HDCP record in MPEG2 mode.

    - HDCP record in AVI mode. Set manually the AVI resolution. If it's set to 1920x1080 it doesn't correct itself and gives that resolution error.
    - FULL PS3 HDCP is gone. All games works and BDs.
    - No crashed after 7hours (view and records) tests.
    - ESET approved - No virus in EXE file.

Thank you Zcranck (AVS FORUM) for info about the patched version AMC. Its solve all problems in definitive.

    Hi webvid,

    Lets go.

    - Uninstall all old drivers/software from AVERMEDIA. Reboot your PC
    - IF C027 or C727 install driver in pack and Avermedia center. For Others AVER cards install actual drivers. Reboot your PC
    - Copy the "tricked AMC.exe" and replaced old version.
    - Enjoy.
For C027 or C727 cards, after replace AMC, run it but no select anything (very nice trick now) you can use other softwares like VIRTUALDUB or AMARECTV or VH CAPTURE to record HDCP protect with highest quality possible using preferable codec (I use Virtualdub or AmarecTV wiht UT ULY2 video codec).

    Any question, reply

  4. Sorry for being a pain but it's still not working. I'm running a windows7 x64 machine with a C027. The drivers "seem" to install but the Aver MediaCenter.exe does not want to load even when I try to run as administrator.

Using the current drivers, your card work?

If you only install AMC version without using "tricked" its works?

IMake a report (print screen and PC
    specs).

Using their current drivers it works. Then I uninstall them and try to run these drivers and AverMediaCenter.exe. The drivers "seem" to install but the AMC.exe does not do anything. I have yet to touch the tricked yet. I may be trying to install the wrong thing at the wrong time because what you call something is not what the file name says.

Normally I'm not this stupid with computers but I don't normally work with hardware drivers.

  7. Problem fixed. Didn't relize I had to go and install the drivers from the device manager.

  8. Hi Cauptain,

    Some questions:

1.You said that both cards C027 and H727 (C727) are the same.
    How about H727 3D card ? : http://www.avermedia.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?Id=499
What`s the difference? Same chip sets but different drivers?

    2. If H727 3D card is different then your above statements (post 93) remains the same? :
" - IF C027 or C727 install driver in pack and Avermedia center. For Others AVER cards install actual drivers. Reboot your PC" ... "For C027 or C727 cards, after replace AMC, run it but no select anything"

    3. Now H727 3D card has also a tv tuner chipset for DVB-T and radio (analog, digital or internet?).
I`ve read somewhere that this chipset could upset recordings via HDMI port even if there is no cable inside the TV socket on the card.
Is this a real threat or it was just an improper interference shielding on that particular card?

Best regards and keep on going like this!
    A.

    Hi atanatizante,

1 - No. C027 and C727 are same. H727 work using same driver "tricked or not" from C027/727. Only this.

2- H727 work using "tricked driver" but lost TV tuner feature. Because this is more pratical using last offical avermedia driver. You can using AMC HDCP to record via HDMI.

3 - If this happens, the card have a problem or interference from others components. Never give this using C027 (2 cards)

    Hi Guys,

I've been following this thread because I wanna buy the Live Gamer HD card ( C985 ).

From what I understand, the "AverMediaCenter 3D HDCP tricked" should work with this card for recording HDCP content, probably even in windows 8 x64
However, the "tricked drivers" won't work, so no DirectShow recording with AmaRec TV or something similar

Has anyone tried the c985 with the tricked AverMediaCenter 3D program provided here ? So does it capture HDCP ? And what's the maximum bitrate you can select for recording in h.264 ?

    Cheers

Many users/peoples asking me via email and PM about MPEG2 files recorded on the Avermedia Center HDCP not be recognized on video editors like Vegas, Avid or Premiere and others.

Below a simple tutorial to show how to solve this problem using the tool ProjectX.

    Just set pictures and resolution
according for each video, of course.

    Any doubt just reply.

  12. I have a C127 and like using AmarecTV. So I just need to install the hacked AverMedia app from that Mediafire link, run it and then run Amarec to record?

    Hi daninthemix, to use AMARECTV:

    1 - Install tricked drivers
2 - Install Avermedia Center in custom mode, no driver.
3 - Open AMARECTV, config all, not close.
4 - Open Avermedia Center and minimize. Only this.

AmarecTV will get image from HDMI. For others inputs, the step 3 is no necessary.

  14. But the drivers included in the package seem to be for C027 and when I install them it installs a TV tuner that isn't present in my system.

Where are the hacked drivers for C127?

No tricked drivers for C127, its only (C027/H727/C727) others cards works using the drivers, but not all.

For you only Avermedia Center tricked to get HDMI record.

  19. Avoid all these driver headaches. You can get an HDCP stripper for US$35 now.

I've seen that one recommended once or twice before, on various forums..
When you follow the link to amazon, the "1 to 4 HDMI" size is always (automatically?) selected... ( CVID BG-550 )

However, you can choose the size of the splitter on that page, just click on "1 to 2 HDMI" button.. ( CVID BG-520 )
supposed to be the same splitter, only smaller and just 20 $ !

    Any info on that ?

BTW, Cheers Claudio, for that MPEG2 fix !

  22. I knew from other reports that the CVID BG-550 1x4 splitter removed HDCP. I saw the 1x2 splitter but couldn't find any definitive information about it. I didn't want to take a chance so I went ahead and got the 1x4 splitter. If you get the 1x2 splitter let us know if it strips HDCP.

Ok, am pretty sure the 1x2 splitter will remove HDCP as well :

I found the same model on amazon for just 17$, and if you go to the costumer reviews, people actually say it removes HDCP !!

    http://www.amazon.com/SANOXY-splitter-swither-XBOX360-Blu-ray/dp/B003UYOEMI/ref=pd_sim_pc_5

    So thats the :
SANOXY HM-132C 2-port HDMI 1.3 Splitter Box, model nr.: HDMI-SPL2P

however it looks like there's many different names for this splitter out there,
so look for costumer reviews to see if it removes HDCP !

And if it gets revoked, its only 17$ no big deal, Am gonna order one, will report in a couple of weeks

EDIT : Bullocks, amazon doesn't send that one to Europe, am going for this one : CVID BG 520

I hope that will run off 240v AC.

If the included wall wart doesn't support 240V all he'll have to do is find another that outputs the right DC voltage. Mine uses 5V DC.

  28. OK, thanks man. In terms of device blacklisting and stuff - that would be really annoying. In fact I think it would cause me to hack my PS3 if it happened.

I have a euro wall wart thing that outputs 5V DC
It will probably have enough amps as well,
otherwise I'll just run to the local hardware store
