LG BD660 DVD and BD Region unlock pls help..

Hi , I have a LG BD660 please help me to unlock DVD and BD Region lock.

We have no record of an unlock code. However, a guy here

says he "went to the customer service", whatever that means, "and they made the player region free". He offers no further information on this. You may need to contact LG customer service about this. Depending on where you live they may or may not help you with this. If you live in the USA or Canada they probably won't help you, but in other parts of the world they might help you to unlock it.

Please be aware that even if you unlock it that the player will only be region free for DVDs and not BluRays. Also be aware that if you get it unlocked and you upgrade the firmware that it may lock the player again and you may not be able to unlock it.

Take it back and get a player with region defeats like the SEIKI BD660....

Hi dude thank for your reply , as you mentioned I contacted the service center and they said they cant do it bcs it is illegal as per the company policy. lets hope for the hack come out . thank you.

Hi all, I found a website http://www.gattiweb.com/bluraymod.html they are modifying and selling all kind of BD players making region free, If you already own a suitable blu-ray player, they can install a region-free chip on it, as per the information on the site if u want they will send the region free chip (for installing on the existing circuitboard) and the installation instruction depends on the player u have.
