After installing an SSD I went back and thought about what one of the major shortcomings are...life span. Saying this, enabling TRIM is suppose to work wonders but I had a thought. The big drawback I've been reading is not to do too much "deleting" or "erasing" etc...I have a habit in that when I install browsers I normally always tick the box in settings that "delete temp files after browser closes". Is this a practice that I will have to stop to try and get the best life span out of an SSD? Normally I only set temp internet files cache on any browser to like 10mb's.
Does anyone have any other tips or tricks on keeping an SSD hummin' along?
thanks
