Hi everybody,
since a couple of weeks I own a goPro Hero2 camera. Battery got discharged and it got some horrible videos like this one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkAGVNk7bys&feature=youtu.be
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2800486/GOPR0204.MP4
I looked up in internet and I found that a lot of people have problems opening corrupted goPro videos. However, it looks like I can open and see the video, but its quality is horrible, as you can see. The solutions proposed in gopro forums do not work.
So my easy question is: is there a way to have my original-quality video back? How can I recover the quality from it?
Thanks a lot

What are the gopro forums solutions?
I doubt you can do anything to restore that video. -
They deal with the problem of actually opening the file and building the index back, that is useless since my file already opens I guess

how can I get the original movie back? -
I don't think you'll be able to fix that. You can remove the red/blue flicker (leaving grayscale) and try some deflickering and noise reduction on what's left. But it will still look like crap. A short example is attached.
