BD Rebuilder is a fine program but, does anyone have comments on two of the following?

So, as to comments: Never heard anything good about pavtube here at videohelp. Dunno about the other one. I'm skeptical.

I evaluated Pavtube and BD Rebuilder need not worry. It just does not work well. It reduces a 39 gig file to a little over 30. Not too good. The other, I will forget too.

If you want an alternative to BD Rebuilder, try the free trial of DVDFab Blu ray Copy. I believe the consensus of opinion is that it cuts a lot of corners in order to increase speed of encoding, and thus doesn't match quality of output from BD Rebuilder most of the time (depending on what encoding parameters you set in BD Rebuilder). But it is another option if you want to try it.

I never tested that particular section of DVDFab, but I did try their blu ray to dvd-video trial. It was the worst result I've ever seen in such a conversion. Not just poor, the worst.
