RAD Tools 1.99n MALWARE or False Positives

Hi VideoHelp Admin/Mods,

I came across this Software "RAD Tools 1.99n" in your Tools Section tagged "Freeware" and I wanted to try it and install this App, but I ran it thru VirusTotal and 4 of the Anti-Malware sites gave major warning about this Freeware!

Q: So, is this a False Postive or truly a Trojan?

The file is very small ... anyway, I tried to post comments on the Tools page but as you know unless I grade the software my comment will not get posted ... Well, I wanted to be fair ... since I had Not used the tool ... I did not grade it and therefore no comment, hence posting my finding here.

But what good is it posting here ... if there is actually a "Malware" in the software then we should be able to Warn others on the Tools web page ... I don't think anybody looks thru the forum to see if a sowftware is SAFE or not Safe to use!

It's false postives and I wouldn't call it MAJOR warnings. Also scanned with http://virusscan.jotti.org/en/scanresult/3a2c0f16b5b12455c7d98936f9bdc0d1086df9e6

Nice to see you are still around.

Well, VirusToal resulted in 4 out of 43 warnings ... and with some heuristic alarms. As you know Jotti only uses 20 Virus Scanner Tools.

Just now I decided to look up VirusTotal again and the number of hits were down from 4 to 3 ... so, I can't understand what happened there. But as you can see the ones Alarming are well-known companies and not fly-by-night operations. See below ..
