  1. I was trying to use MeGUI with Haali and ffdshow, but I can't find a preset/profile inside of meGUI which allows me to use them... I just can't find anything to fix my problem

  2. They not used unless your script uses DirectShowSource() , and you have your directshow filters configured for haali and ffdshow (not some other filters with higher merit)

  3. I'm kinda new to remuxing, I think that's what it is, is there any way you would be able to either briefly (so you don't have to spend a century typing) describe how to setup the filter or the scripting used by AviSynth so I can use haali/ffdshow or maybe a link to a forum post you know of (I have looked, but yeah :\ not knowing keywords on this makes it kinda hard to find stuff)

or maybe is there an inbuilt profile which is extremely HQ that I can use (I have directly ripped a bluray and I want to convert the 4gb files down from 4gb to around 1.3 gb each + embed the subtitles into the container.

    Thanks

you have the answer already .....

when opening AVS Script Creator (Editor) and choose file to encode, just select DirectShowSource and MEGUI will use Haali spliter and direstshow decoder with higher merit in your system (File Indexer will use FFMPEG library (decoders), this will work too):
