Best current software for BD ripping

Clearly there are a number of ways to go about ripping BD's but with software development constantly improving I was wondering what the easiest method would be understanding that I have a W7 64 bit PC with a BD player and ANYDVD HD and am not looking for perfection but rather a good picture and maybe better than average sound.
I think Ripbot and handbrake both do a good job at picture quality but which is better for soundfield? Many rips these days sound a bit tinny to my ear so I'd like to pass thru Dolby or DTS so which is better for that, or does it even make a difference?
Is MakeMKV a good program?
I want the final product to be 264 in a MKV container with Dolby sound with a file size not to exceed 4Gb, whats the best software?
Please excuse if this is redundant but in looking at the guides it seems that some of the info is a little dated so I was looking for current thoughts about the best/easiest method/software

Rip with anydvd and convert with ripbot264. Passthru/copy the audio.


MakeMKV just copies the movies, it can't do any shrinking/conversion.

Just got Anydvd HD and am more than a little lost, ripping blu ray not like dvd to be sure. Whats the easiest method, is there a guide? I'm looking but not finding.
