    I have a new copy of the old series of the outer limits, each dvd as 6 separate stories on each dvd. Is there a method to convert the dvd format to secure the 6 stories and copy as a avi file and view one at a time ??

    Just rip one episode at a time.....simple. Use DVDFabDecrypter to take each episode individually to your hard drive....then convert with your favorite conversion program. Shown below is DVDFabDecrypter with a NavyCIS DVD in the drive. The individual episodes are clearly recognizable.
