Video Speed not match to video

i have audio length 1:50:01 and video is 1:57:06 so how can i add this audio to video with exact video picture and make dual audio.

Please help . i am working this about 1 week. i tried mkvmerge but not get proper audio with video.

You can start by try "stretch" the audio with audacity, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdwQ9ShmPrg and see how it syncs with the video. But it will probably also require some manual editing to get exact sync.

Or change the frame rate of the video at the container level. Multiply the frame rate by 1.0644.

But you'll often find there's more than just a different length. It's often different cuts of the movie.

Is that a 7 second difference? Or 7 minutes?

jagabo@ well, movie contain same video, but one movie have slow video frames while other movie's video is fast therefore audio length not match,,, when i match video & audio at 3 min. at proper time but when video reach at 5 min. then audio is delay.

You can modify the frame rate to math the audio in Virtualdub. Select video/frame rate/ match to audio.
Set video to direct stream copy and save as a new AVI.
One problem is, although it may be fine to play it on the computer, external devices may not play it properly,
since the F/R is non-standard now.

If you're lucky all you have to do is set the audio delay.

Start MMG. Add the video track. Add the audio track. Highlight the audio track. " Press the Format Specific Options" tab. In the "Delay (in ms)" field enter the delay you want, in milliseconds. For example if you need a 3 second delay enter 3000. If the audio needs to be advanced rather than delayed enter a negative number. Press the "Start Muxing" button. Done.

I have video which is lower quality in hindi language and its 30 FPS, so i download HD quality movie in English language and its 23.976 FPS, so i extract hindi audio from mkvmerge , and after that i add hindi audio in HD quality movie through mkvmerge , but now problem is that hindi audio is not match, i also use delay (ms) but now problem is that audio going proper way at 4 min but when video reach at 15 min then hindi audio not match, so how can i convert 30 FPS audio to 23.976 audio ? is that possible ? because i think audio don't have FPS , so how can i do this job. ? please help friend... because now i am tired to searching those think...... please..........

It might be easier to change the frame rate of the video at the container level.

You can use an audio editor like Audacity to stretch or squish the audio length.

But releases in different countries often are different cuts of the movie. So simply adjusting the audio length or frame rate may work.

Hey friend, Now i sync hindi audio with exact length of 1:56:06. so when i muxing in mmg (mkvmerge) then video frame may not proper when it start, after 5 or 6 sec. video going proper way and proper audio. but when i fast forward in vlc (clt + right arrow) then again frame are like garbage , so how to solve this garbage video frame. ?

I think that's just a VLC issue. It uses "fast seeking" where it doesn't search for a keyframe when you seek. So you get garbage until the next keyframe comes around.

Yeah, that's definitely just a VLC rendering problem, not a reflection on the file.
