The only thing I can find on the subject is from the MeWiki:

    http://mewiki.project357.com/wiki/Guides/Basic_Guide

Where it states: 5.1 audio (if you want to do this, I would recommend muxing the original ac3 file and not doing any encoding).

Surely theres an easier way rather than having to demux the original audio and then muxing it manually to the video?

  3. Hi, I am getting to grips with MeGUI myself. The way that works for me is to use the one click encoder option,
    - select your input file
    - check the advanced options box
    - select the encoder config tab
    - change the encode audio option to never
    - click GO
the video will get encoded then muxed with the original audio to create your new output.

    hope this helps!

Thanks Harpon, I actually discovered that way of doing it but I need to adjust the deinterlacing parameters which is only available when you encode via > Tools/File Indexer or Tools/AVS Script Creator....

  5. Yeah can't see an easy way using the manual way apart from the audio already been demuxed when the input file is indexed as you probably have already found.
    - index
    - encode video
    - then tools/muxer select encoded video + original audio and mux

    Anyone else?

I have found another work around, after indexing the file it demuxes the audio into ac3 file untouched(I think), now on the input tab under audio click the "X" to clear the track details, now AutoEncode and Select the ac3 file that I think is untouched under add other tracks.... bit long winded I know, thats why Im thinking there must be an easier way. This is the only way to do it through the File Indexer and AVS Script Creator.... Next question is how on earth do you Queue all this up so you can do 10 at a time without coming back to index the files or stuff??.

Anyway Merry Xmas Harpon, let me know if you have any success or discover anything else
