    I haven't had much luck with my iPod Touch 3G....without re-encoding that is. No luck at all actually...

    For my case I was going to convert my iPod Touch video for YouTube anyway. I first used WinFF to convert the iPod vid to DVD(widescreen NTSC), did my edit in MPEGVCR (I believe), then converted for YouTube.
