I've got an MKV that when played in VLC shows subs (soft, not hard).
But MKVextractGUI doesn't see any -- it doesn't see any streams at all.
Are there any other ways to get subs out of an MKV?
Here's the Mediainfo, it shows there is a text sub:

Sometimes the original mkvextract "sticks" . Try loading video a few times, and it will eventually see the subs
or you can try mkvextractgui-2 -
Solved it: used the command line mkvextract.
Code:mkvextract tracks "video.mkv" -c ISO8859-1 3:video.srt
-
mkvextractgui-2 works too
The original MKVExtractGUI hasn't been updated since 2007.
Thanks.
