I have an extensive DVD collection that I am ripping to my HDD. A lot of the DVD's have multiple audio tracks but when I use Magic DVD Ripper only one track "gets through". I love the Magic DVD Ripper program as it is simple and has never let me down but I dont know how to get more than 1 audio track through the ripping process.
When I run the Ripper program and I select "Copy Main Movie" another menu appears that says "Select Audio and Subtitles" and I am presented with various options. The movie that I currently have loaded there is a checkbox for English AC3 6 channel and another for English AC3 2 channel, so I check both boxes because I would like both to be included in the rip. However immediately under that selection area there is another titled "Select Default Audio" and a dropdown box is provided where I can choose EITHER of the two options but not both. So what is the point of selecting multiple tracks if only one gets through the process?

Do I need another program to do this?

While I have an awesome A/V system in the mancave my wife has just a 2 channel set up, so I kinds need both audio streams to be included, how do I do this?

I suggest you try the free version of DVDFab. Note that it trails the commercial version by 6 months so it can't rip some new releases, but it will get you all the audio tracks. The old free DVD Decrypter will also rip everything but it doesn't work on some releases that use copy protection methods that came out after it's final update (the author of DVD Decrypter was forced to abandon the project for legal reasons, so it hasn't been updated in years). You can always buy DVDFab or AnyDVD and get regular updates if you want something kept up to date on new copy protection methods.

Magic DVD Ripper has most definitely "let you down". The sooner you stop being married to it, the better off you will be.
