Are there still handheld video players that meets these criteria:
- play camtasia-recorded educational videos of 2 hours lengths
- small enough to use during a workout on a treadmill in the gym
- without tracking software (location, motion of the device) (#1 criteria!!)
- earphones can be plugged in
- general video playing features (fast forward, rewind, stop)
- videos will need to be downloaded from a Mac
- absolutely no other features, like recording options, wifi, network connections, making calls....
I'm just looking for a dumm, handheld video player that doesn't track any user information to use on a treadmill
Store personnel can't tell me about the tracking their devices do.

Maybe the Aluratek CINEPAL High Definition Personal Media Player will work for you, although it can't play everything under the sun. However, it may or may not be available where ever you are.
