picture problem

Yo,
I have a little problem. All my downloaded movies have a purple picture. What can I do against it, did I maybe installed a wrong Codec?
Sorry for my bad english I'm from Germany.

I have installed the Nimo Codec Pack and the picture is Ok, but now it stands on the head. Doese anybody know what to do?

you probably got the Angel Potion codec installed on your computer, uninstall it, and the purple should be gone (this worked for me)

Ähm, If I open the avi with windows media player the purple is now gone. But If I turn it into mpeg with Tempg Encoder it's purple. I can' t find anything like that Angel Potion Codec on my PC. Is there anything else I can I do, is maybe anything wrong with Tempg?

Now I know what's wrong, but I don't know what I can do against it. Avis which turn into purple after encoding to mpeg use this Ccdec:MS-MPEG4 V3.
My other avis with DIVXMPG4 V3 are working. If I uninstall MS-MPEG4 V3
I got no picture. Please help me, I'm trying to fix it since 5 days.

I am having the same problem.. I have done a search for Angle potion on my computer and have come up with nothing... but the same thing happens to me.. I watch a movie on my computer and its fine, but once I encode it and burn it... it has a purplish haze, aswell as very blocky... could somone please help me (and hanselel) solve this problem...... Thanks in advance..
