    Hi

    I'm trying to clean up a video and know that it only saves in avi, but find the quality is terrible, it's blocky, is there a way to save it in mpeg2 if possible ? Thanks in advance.

    What video codec are you using now?

    You can use ffdshow to output MPEG 2 in AVI. It's also possible to use external encoder/muxer. There are a few posts around here with instruction on how to do that.
