    Looking to cut-only (not combine) WMV9 Advanced Profile/MP3 files without re-encoding, doesn't even need to be frame accurate. Most threads I found through search are older and recommend WME9/WM File Editor, VDub, or a combination of the two. Do these remain the most appropriate software for this task? Was hoping by now there would be something as simple and convenient for WMV as VideoRedo is to MPG.

    AsfbinWin is perfect for my needs. Within 3 minutes of reading your post I now have a 380Mb file and can rid myself of the 2.4Gb excess record file. This is going to simplify greatly my online instruction recordings (screen captures). Previously I had to wait around for the start and stop times so as not to over-record and create file bloat. Flexibility is now my friend.
