Just posted hack but it won't let me add comments which are:
'BTW, the hack worked for me with a Region 4 player and is identical to hack for:
SAMSUNG HT-DM150, HT-DM550, HT-DS400, HT-DB600, HT-WP38
I just decided to try hacks for previous similar models and struck lucky.
Don't know why they should be the same but it worked for me.
Previously I couldn't play Region 1 or 2 content on it. After successful hack
it prompted me to change player settings (Region 1 disc NTSC). Helpful!'

Don't know if you can help me, but not really sure how/where else to post this question:
I have a Region 4 Samsung BP-1500 and, using the hacks listed here, unlocked it and have been enjoying Australian and US DVDs for the past few months. However, even though it was purchased brand new about 3 years ago, I have never watched a Blu-Ray before. I got a few on sale yesterday and when I try to play them I get the error "this disc cannot be read". Is this message because of having unlocked the player to make it region-less? Does anyone have any suggestions to get the BD to play?
System Information says:
S/W: 080702.01_081908B1_XSA
Region: B/9 (BD/DVD)
Thank you!
