    Hi all,
I have a feeling this isn't the ideal place to post this but I'm not sure where else to.
Based on your own experiences, how do you go about determining which release it is you really want? For instance, let's say I go to Amazon and find 4 different versions of a film on DVD. You click on each link and notice that the reviews are all the same and the specs are all identical. What now? One version is Widescreen/2.0 Mono, another Fullscreen/2.0 Mono, another Color/Widescreen/1.0 Mono and the last B&W/Widescreen/5.1 Surround. Where do you go to compare, find, hone in on and buy the exact version you want? I always say I'm not the best at wording things but I'm sure you've encountered similar situations to what I provided.
Is there a site that compares versions and specs? What are the best methods of finding out what I'm referring to when all else fails?
    Thanks,
    Justin

Tried it, to no avail. That's virtually verbatim to what I queried.

it doesn't directly compare DVD versions, although the DVDBeaver site does:

    http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/reviews.htm

But if there are reviews of the different versions out there, you can usually find them at DVD Basen.

Thanks. DVDBeaver is much more helpful. I was looking to compare two titles: Whatever Happened To Baby Jane, which it had, and Clue, which it didn't.
