DVDA/how2/mask/button?????

Hello people, hope everything is ok with you

Here is the deal:

Im authoring a dvd using dvd architect, the dvd is 99% done, im only having trouble creating a simple button image,
my goal is to use an image to next to the title, to let the viewer know where he is pointing at, example:

PLAY ALL (image)
CHAPTERS
CREDITS

I want also the image to be use in all the buttons

i read somewhere i should use PNG format in order for transparency to work, which it does
my problem is, i really don't get how DVDA works with mask and frames etc etc etc
i've read the help file many times but my brain seems to go backwards everytime i read that,
so i give up and let the real experts help out

1: Same button multiple times using highlight to indicate where user is ... might be a little clustered

2: Or use switched menu's ... more preferred method when using user images to indicate location but is a little slower when jumping between menu's.
