Hello,
I am brand new to this forum and the reason for my post is to ask the members if there is a way to extract just the text from a .caption file? Below is an example of one of the .caption files I am referring to. I have highlighted in green some of the text that I am talking about.
This .caption file is from a tutorial dvd and I want to be able to print the captions out on paper so that I can refer to them while studying the tutorials.
Would anyone be able to recommend a software/editor that can do this?
Thanks!
Dan

Thanks Baldrick,
As some of these files are quite large I was thinking about using my editor (TextPad) which supports regular expressions. Would you know of how to write a regular expression that would delete the specified tag and eveything in between. For example: <key>in</key> Find <key> and </key> and eliminate the tags and everything in between.
Thanks,
Dan -
Hi Dan, you could try latest test version of SubtitleEdit - http://www.nikse.dk/SubtitleEdit.zip
Use File -> Export -> Plain text
