I have a Dual Receiver Dish Network DVR [Model VIP722K], I recorded a session from CMT music awards and would like to save it on DVD, what's the easiest way I can record this onto my pc please? Is there any way I can do this without having to purchase any hardware?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

You would need to play the show and record it in real time via some kind of TV outputs from the DVR that you can send to a capture card or capture device in your PC. I think that the Hauppauge HD PVR would be useful for this type of thing. I do not think you will be able to get by without purchasing any hardware unless somehow your PC already has the right hardware.
