  1. Hi,
I am doing timelapse sequence showing building of house. I have hundreds of photos I took every day at construction yard. I did all photos from this same place but as you can expect every photo has small different distortion - different angle, liitle different zoom. But the main object (house) is always in center. There are also several static points which was unchanged during the whole process (background buildings, forground street etc). Is there any tool which is able to reduce the distortions? I would like to have my house from each photos at this same position at screen?

  2. If you're referring to the slight shift in the frame and the house is off-center, you could try stabilization software e.g. prodad mercalli, deshaker, after effects etc...

Timelapse footage often have other "distortions" like change in luminance or flickering (time of day, exposure changes)

  3. OK, but how to use this stabilization tools? I can track points (like background houses, foreground street) and what then? How to use this this tracking data? I was thinking about corner pin effect but this effect is controlled by 4 outside points not my tracking points.

  4. Luminance flickering are also present but I will work with this after I stabilize my sequence geometry

  5. Import the images into VirtualDub and use the DeShaker filter. It has shake, rotate, and zoom compensation.

  6. I have found interesting sollution in Photoshop. There is a script "Load files into a stack" and there is an option "Attempt to Automaticalyy Align Source Images". Results are fantastic!
