Hello people , i have been recently learning how to encode with hcenc and stuff. The problem is after i have encoded a movie through hcencoder from avi to m2v the m2v file has no timecode when played in any media player on pc.
Also i rip the audio .wav from the original avi file through the virtualdubmod program and encode to .ac3.
So when i go to author the m2v and ac3 file in dvd lab it says the m2v file is 1:44:56 long and the .ac3 audio is 1:49:25.
How does that work out? =/
Thanks , Gaz

Try multiplex the m2v and ac3 with imagompeg-muxer and try play it.
