    Yes any way you look at it green is the best chroma key color. The normal Bayer pattern has 2x green pixels giving green the better signal to noise. Y is mostly green @1920x1080. In a 4:2:0 recording format, blue is stored as mostly 960x540 resolution and will create stepped edges.

    Blue works equally well for film or 3x CCD 4:4:4 source only.
