    Hello,

I am rather new and I have a small problem.

I made a backup of a blu-ray with DVDFAB. It worked very well. I only want to put the subtitle in the MKV file. I have extracted the subtitle with HDRstreamextractor and converted it to idx/sub. I tried putting it in the MKV with MKV merge. The subtitle is displayed when I open it with mediainfo, but will not pisplay in my mediaplayer. I also tried .srt and it has the same problem.

Can someone give me the correct procedure or settings for MKV merge for muxing in the subtitle.

    Thank you.

ANd you are sure that your media player supports mkv with embedded subtitles?

And be sure to disable header compression in mkvmergegui ( File->Options->Disable header compression) when you make a new mkv.

    Thanks for the reply.
I found the problem. The .srt file wasn't sorted correctly. I made a new srt file and this solved my problem. Just to be sure I disabled the headr compression.

Thank you. I was struggeling for a few days allready
